The Toll Booth tells you where you are exposed. It is a standing audit — you run it, you find the layer nobody is watching, you fix it.
It does not help you at 11pm on a Tuesday when a decision is in front of you and the path is not obvious. Nothing you own does. That is what this is.
The failure this removes
A reversible decision handled as though it were irreversible wastes weeks. An irreversible one handled as though it were reversible ends careers.
Both mistakes feel identical while you are making them. Both feel like thinking hard. Neither is a failure of intelligence — it is a failure of routing, and it happens before the first real thought.
Most people run every decision through whatever faculty they happen to be strongest in. The strategist strategises a taste problem. The analyst analyses a values question. It works often enough to never get corrected.
The leverage point
You name what kind of moment this is. That is the whole move. The router then deploys the specific instruments the moment requires — three or four, not all seven — and you run those.
Thirty seconds is not a suggestion. There is a clock on the screen, and it is the point: the kind of moment you are in is almost always known immediately and then talked out of.

What is new — and the only thing here you do not already own
The first instrument opens with a council. Five seats read the situation you typed and each argues it at full strength from its own logic — not a survey, not a balanced summary. A seat that hedges has not been filled.

Each seat also names where the others are wrong. Then the council states the sharpest tension between them — and that tension, not the seat you agreed with, is usually the real decision. It is rarely the one you walked in holding.
Every instrument after that gives its counsel first and asks its questions second. The counsel is an argument, not a verdict. The answer boxes are yours, and writing down where you disagree is a legitimate use of the tool — arguably the main one.

Read this before you decide
The Toll Booth sends nothing, ever. The Sovereign 7 is different, and you should know exactly how before you upgrade rather than after.
The council is a model. To give counsel it has to be sent the situation you write and the answers you have given in that session. Nothing is kept — not by us, not in a log, not in a file. We could not show you your own session if you asked, because we do not have it.
You can switch it off, per session. The first screen of every session has a tick box: keep this session private — do not consult the council. Tick it and nothing leaves your device for that whole session. Every instrument still opens and you work it yourself, which is how the method ran before the council existed. It resets each session, so you choose again every time.
Everything else stays local. Sessions, answers, and your profile live in your browser on one device. There is no account inside the app. That is deliberate — and it is why the export button matters, because clearing your browser is the one thing we cannot undo for you.
Be clear
Not a course. There are no modules, no videos, and nothing to complete. You open it when a decision is live and close it when the call is made.
Not a chatbot. You cannot ask it anything you like. It runs one structure, on one situation, and hands you back your own thinking with the weak parts exposed.
Not advice. It is an educational thinking instrument. It has no idea what your balance sheet looks like and it is not financial, legal, or tax advice.
Not a daily habit. One sitting per real decision. Running it on questions you have already settled produces exactly what you would expect.
The upgrade
You pay $10 today. This replaces it — it does not stack on top. $37 more than what is already leaving your account each month, once your $10 line is closed.
Cancel any time from the customer portal link on your ThriveCart receipt. Access ends when the subscription does; the markdown you exported stays yours either way.
We close your $10 Toll Booth subscription by hand once the upgrade lands — usually the same day, and always within one business day. If a $10 payment slips through in between, tell us and we refund it that day. You should never pay for both, and you will not be left arguing about it.

Untouched. It lives in your browser, and the Sovereign 7 is a separate instrument with its own sessions — it does not overwrite or migrate anything.
Yes. Cancel and resubscribe to the Toll Booth Method at any time. You keep every markdown export you have taken.
It runs, but do not use it there. Sessions are stored per device and per browser, so the machine you start on is the machine that has them. Pick the one you actually sit down and think at.
For the council, yes — every session. Without a connection the instruments still open and still work; you answer them yourself.
About thirty minutes for a real decision. The router takes thirty seconds of it.
No. It is sent to be read, counsel comes back, and nothing is retained on our side. If that is still too close for a particular decision, tick the private box and nothing is sent at all.
